MORGANTON, W.Va. — Ross Hodge has added a key piece to his initial roster at WVU with Tuesday’s commitment from Amir Jenkins.
West Virginia continues to build momentum under new head coach Ross Hodge. On Tuesday, the Mountaineers secured a big commitment from Amir Jenkins, a four-star point guard out of Worcester, Mass.
Jenkins will re-class and enroll at West Virginia ahead of the 2025-26 season. The Worcester Academy and BABC point guard becomes the first top-100 prospect to commit to new head coach Ross Hodge.
He continues that today, with the new addition of point guard Amir Jenkins. Jenkins is a 2026 recruit, but sources indicate that the Mountaineers will look to have him reclassify to 2025.
