Two days of talks resulted in a “framework” that is intended to solidify terms of a deal the superpowers reached in Geneva last month.

The United States and China have agreed on a trade framework after two days of negotiations in London, China’s trade negotiator Li Chenggang told reporters on Wednesday, according to Chinese state broadcaster CGTN.

The London talks are the latest in the two countries’ joint efforts to find a middle ground to resolve a trade dispute which threatens to plunge the world into recession and economic instability. View
