Doechii joined Lauryn Hill onstage at the Miami festival Jazz in the Gardens to perform "Doo Wop (That Thing)." The following day, she shared a sweet letter on Instagram dedicated to the Fugees musician.

Doechii is really coming up in the world these days as she’s already a Grammy Award winner and well on her way to household name recognition, but nothing says “I made it” like a co-sign from one of the biggest music icons from the previous generation, Lauryn Hill.

Before performing her own hits including “ NISSAN ALTIMA ,” Doechii called Hill “the greatest artist of all time.” She then continued her set with Hill on stage. The latter closed out the show with Wyclef Jean and her son, YG Marley.
