Google's AI Mode, the experimental Google Search feature that lets users ask complex, multi-part questions via an AI interface, will roll out to everyone

Google on Tuesday revealed new Android development tools, a new mobile AI architecture, and an expanded developer community. The announcements accompanied the unveiling of an AI Mode for Google Search at the Google I/O keynote in Mountain View, California.

Other search options and modes dynamically move and change based on the query but AI Mode is consistently on the left.

Ads may appear “where relevant” below and “integrated into” AI Mode responses as part of a test, Google says. AI Mode lets Google Search users ask a question and get an AI-generated response, with the ability to go deeper through follow-up questions and links to websites.

I/O presentation, the company revealed AI assistants of all kinds, smart glasses and headsets, and state-of-the-art AI filmmaking tools.

Just don’t confuse Deep Think with DeepMind or Astra with Aura.

Users will be able to drop their ticket-buying query straight into the Google search bar, then sort through results.
