Liverpool's perfect mix and match of Jurgen Klopp's heavy metal and Arne Slot's symphony destroyed Manchester City, writes Phil McNulty.

Klopp did a terrific job at Liverpool, and his legacy is engraved in the history of the club. Joe Gomez rightly said that Slot didn’t want to fill Klopp’s shoes or be like him. He did not make any major changes to the squad in the summer, and basically, he is playing with the same team as last season.
