A large decorative mug that blew off a pub is put back in place on the outside of the building.

The large polystyrene mug, painted with scenes from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, had adorned the establishment in Ely, Cambridgeshire, since 2021. However, it flew off on Saturday evening as Storm Darragh hit the city.

NIE Networks says power has been restored to nearly all of its customers following Storm Darragh. It said 15 customers still require more complex repairs but that "generators have been provided to ensure they have electricity until permanent fixes are completed".
