Oregon women’s golf advances to match play at NCAA Championships for 3rd time in 4 years
For the third time in four years, Oregon has advanced to stoke play at the NCAA women’s golf championship. The No. 5 Ducks had their best round of stroke play on Monday, shooting 4-under 284 at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. Oregon finished stroke play 6-under, second to No. 1 Stanford’s 27-under.

Virginia is making its 15th NCAA Championships appearance in the 22-year history of the program. UVA’s best finishes at the NCAAs were back-to-back fourth-place showings in 2011 and 2012. Virginia advances to the final round of stroke play for the first time since the 2022 season when the Cavaliers finished 15th.
