Bradley Whitford has been tapped to recur opposite his former West Wing co-star Allison Janney on Netflix political thriller drama series The Diplomat

Bradley Whitford and Allison Janney are back together in the White House again. It’s a “West Wing” reunion in “The Diplomat” Season 3, as Whitford has joined the cast as Todd Penn, husband to Janney’s Vice President Grace Penn.

The streamer released some first look photos on Thursday, which feature newest cast member Bradley Whitford, who Deadline previously reported will be reuniting with his former The West Wing co-star Allison Janney to play her husband and the First Gentleman of the United States.

Netflix officially revealed that Bradley Whitford will be joining Allison Janney on the third season of The Diplomat. The two actors had earlier worked together on the NBC cult TV show, The West Wing from 1999 to 2006.

After season 2 of Netflix’s political drama The Diplomat ended on a huge twist, the series is barreling toward a third chapter—one with major implications for Kate’s career, widening the target already strapped to her back.
