Tom McKibbin of Northern Ireland is the latest player to join Saudi-funded LIV Golf. In doing so, the 22-year-old has rejected the advice of mentor Rory McIlroy.

Tom McKibbin is set to face a suspension from the PGA Tour, but the penalty won't take effect until he makes his first appearance on the LIV Golf circuit in Saudi Arabia next week. The Northern Irishman rounds off the LIV roster for 2025, having been signed by Jon Rahm and Legion XIII this Wednesday.

LIV Golf announced it has signed Northern Ireland’s Tom McKibbin. McKibbin, 22, has been linked to the Saudi-backed league for months, and did not comment on the speculation when pressed earlier this month at the DP World Tour’s Team Cup.

Jon Rahm has made a splash signing before his second LIV Golf season. Twenty-two-year-old Tom McKibbin, who is currently 21st in the European Ryder Cup rankings, will join Rahm’s Legion XIII and play alongside him,
