A drug bust turned into a seasonally appropriate rescue in Fall River as detectives removed a fleeing suspect who got stuck in a chimney. Fall River police officers executed a search warrant at a house on the 100-block of Canal Street Tuesday evening when two men fled the scene, according to the police department.

River man became lodged in a chimney as he tried to escape police officers executing a search warrant. He needed help from those same officers to get out.

The suspect “invoked the essence of the seasonal icon,” and tried hiding from officers inside of a chimney, according to police.
