Sri Lanka, India and South Africa are set to play a women's ODI tri-series in April and May in Sri Lanka, SLC announced on Thursday. This tri-series was not originally part of the women's Future Tours Programme (FTP).

Team India will be playing a tri-nation series in Sri Lanka, also featuring South Africa from April 27 onwards. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) issued a statement announcing the tri-nation series schedule."Sri Lanka,

An ODI Tri-Nation series, featuring Sri Lanka, India, and South Africa will be played during the months of April & May in the island nation. All games will be played at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo, and the tournament begins with Sri Lanka and India squaring off against each other on 27th April.

The three competing teams will play four matches each — all day games — with the tournament to be held at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo, stated an SLC release

Sri Lanka will host India and South Africa in a Women's ODI tri-series in April and May, it was confirmed on Thursday (March 6). The series, a double round-robin with a final, will serve as build up towards the ODI World Cup set to be played in India later in the year.
