Penn State will need Allar, Warren and the rest of the offense to step up and star on Saturday night when the Nittany Lions play for the Big Ten title. Penn State and Oregon will kick off at 8 p.m. Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The game will air nationally on CBS.

Penn State football star senior Tyler Warren is the Big Ten Kwalick-Clark Tight End of the Year. The conference announced the honor Tuesday during its live postseason awards show on the Big Ten Network.

At the start of this week, both Penn State coach James Franklin and his Oregon counterpart, Dan Lanning, admitted they weren’t neck-deep just yet in film preparation ahead of the upcoming Big Ten championship.

Carter was named the Big Ten’s Nagurski-Woodson defensive player of the year and the conference’s Smith-Brown defensive lineman of the year award winner — along with being first team All-Big Ten (coaches and media) — while Warren was named the Kwalick-Clark tight end of the year award winner — and also first team All-Big Ten (coaches and media).
