A "small number of animals" at Wildlife World Zoo have tested positive for avian influenza, also known as bird flu, Maricopa County health officials say. Experts say the risk to public remains low.

The Maricopa County Department of Public Health on Wednesday said deadly bird flu cases were found at the Wildlife World Zoo. Five of the beloved animals died, but another animal is responding well to treatment.
