The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 7:56 a.m. EST on Saturday in effect until Sunday at 1 a.m. EST for Menominee County.

Augusta, Rockingham, Nelson, Albemarle, Highland, Central Virginia Blue Ridge, and Western Pendleton and Eastern Pendleton, WV.

For Washington, the NWS said heavy snow, with up to nine inches of accumulation, was expected for the cities of Plummer, Tekoa, Pullman, La Crosse, Moscow, Uniontown, Potlatch, Colfax, Genesee, Oakesdale, and Rosalia. Wednesday morning commutes could be affected.
