With Cam Talbot available to start their next game, the Detroit Red Wings sent Sebastian Cossa back to the minors. Talbot and Alex Lyon, who both have been dealing with lower-body injuries, were part of Wednesday's practice as the Wings (11-13-4) prepared to face the Flyers Thursday in Philadelphia.

Cam Talbot and Alex Lyon, both out with lower-body injuries, returned to practice Wednesday. Rookie Sebastian Cossa, coming off his first NHL win Monday in Buffalo, did not practice with the team and was reassigned to the Grand Rapids Griffins.

As of this afternoon, the Detroit Red Wings have yet to lock in a starting goaltender for tomorrow night's game against the Flyers in Philadelphia. Coach Derek Lalonde knows who he's like to start, but as Cam Talbot and Alex Lyon work their way back from injuries, that can't yet be a certainty.
