Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas said the crash that injured his 18-year-old son happened because the Tesla Cybertruck the teen was driving malfunctioned.

Gilbert Arenas’ son, Alijah, got into a car accident on April 24 after he “lost control” of his Tesla Cybertruck in the San Fernando Valley. According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the vehicle crashed into a tree and/or fire hydrant.

Gilbert Arenas claims that the reason his son Alijah Arenas got into a fiery car accident was because of the Tesla Cybertruck that he was traveling in malfunctioned. Gilbert spoke about his 18-year-old son's experience on an episode of the All The Smoke podcast.
