Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber and Max Kepler each had two RBIs for the Phils, who scored a total of 13 runs during their losing streak. Bryson Stott had two hits and scored twice on a blustery afternoon at Wrigley Field.

So the Marlins instead traded Luzardo and prospect Paul McIntosh to the Philadelphia Phillies for prospects Starlyn Caba and outfielder Emaarion Boyd. He's been fantastic in Philly, going 2-0 in five starts with a 2.08 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 36 strikeouts in 30.1 innings.

The Miami Marlins were shopping Luzardo in December, and as The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reports, Chicago had the deal done. Only at the last minute did the Cubs back out after reviewing Luzardo's medical records, which raised concerns about the southpaw's back and elbow.
