Crews are removing two large steel pipes that fell off a truck Tuesday evening on the outbound side of the Kennedy Expressway near Lake Street.

Illinois State Police said the incident happened in the northbound lanes of I-90 near Lake Street. A semi-truck carrying steel pipes hit the Lake Street bridge, causing some of the pipes to fall onto the expressway and hit two other cars.
