Storm Darragh has been battering Northern Ireland with severe gusts through the early hours of Saturday morning.

Train lines have reopened in Northern Ireland but thousands of homes remain without power following Storm Darragh.Gusts of up to 70mph caused extensive damage to the electricity network in the north,

NIE Networks says power has been restored to nearly all of its customers following Storm Darragh. It said 15 customers still require more complex repairs but that "generators have been provided to ensure they have electricity until permanent fixes are completed".
