Trump will rename Gulf of Mexico to 'Gulf of America' among 1st executive orders
Among the first executive orders set to be signed by President Donald Trump will be an order to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the newly named "Gulf of America." The plan will be enacted "a short time from now," Trump said during his inaugural address at the Capitol Rotunda on Monday.

Trump will make good on his promise to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, as he floated in a news conference earlier this month. A preview of the order, first obtained by the New York Post, said both the Gulf of Mexico and Mount Denali will be renamed, with the latter reverting back to its previous name, Mount McKinley.
