Both McDavid and Myers were given automatic hearings after they received match penalties for their actions in Saturday's game between the Oilers and Canucks.

Connor McDavid of the Edmonton Oilers has been suspended by the NHL Department of Player Safety for three games for crosschecking Conor Garland of the Vancouver Canucks in the helmet. Vancouver’s Tyler Myers was also been suspended for three games for cross-checking Edmonton’s Evan Bouchard.

Vancouver Canucks defenceman Tyler Myers and Edmonton Oilers forward Connor McDavid are both getting three-game suspensions for crosschecking.

The National Hockey League will hold its hearing into Connor McDavid and Tyler Myers’ crosschecking incidents on Monday. Both hearing are in-person so the most either player can get is a four game suspension.

However, Noah Juulsen (undisclosed) could play ahead of Friedman if the former is able to suit up in any of the games that Myers is unavailable.
