Ben Johnson was asked about possibly trading for Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett when he brought up Dennis Allen’s influence on his decision making.

The Denver Broncos have hired former New Orleans Saints interim head coach Darren Rizzi as their new special teams coordinator. Rizzi spent the last six seasons with the Saints, serving as special teams coordinator for both Broncos coach Sean Payton and Dennis Allen before taking over as interim head coach last season.

It's been a long time since the New Orleans Saints had a first-year, first-time head coach. Dennis Allen was a head coach prior to his Saints tenure, so you'd have to go back to Sean Payton in 2006 for the last time they had a first-year,

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports, "The Broncos are hiring Darren Rizzi as their special teams coordinator, per a source." Rizzi took over as the Saints' interim head coach in Week 10 after the team parted ways with head coach Dennis Allen after a 2-7 start.

The Kellen Moore era is officially here for the New Orleans Saints. The team held an introductory press conference on Thursday morning, with all of the main Saints brass in attendance. It’s the first time they’ve done this since introducing Dennis Allen just over three years ago.
