Colombian superstar Shakira said Monday that she will resume her world tour and perform in Lima, Peru, on Monday evening, following the cancellation of a concert over the weekend due to a stomach illness.
Shakira is taking time out of her current tour to focus on her health. The "Hips Don't Lie" singer, 48, postponed her Sunday, February 16 show in Lima, Peru, telling her fans in a heartfelt message that she needed to be hospitalized for a health "issue.
The Colombian superstar regained her strength after a trip to the hospital in Lima also ended up with private information being leaked to the public.
Shakira has confirmed that her concert in Colombia will not be held, following a statement from the concert promoter.
She noted the doctors who are caring for her told her she is "not in good enough condition to perform this evening." Shakira did not offer any further details on her condition. "I
