Ames police release name of weekend shooting victim
The Ames Police Department has released the name of the man who died after being shot over the weekend. At around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday officers with the Ames Police Department responded to an apartment in the 200 block of South 5th Street.

Ames police identified the man on Tuesday as Parker L. Stoneburner, 25, of Boone. They say no arrests have been made, "however tips received continue to be reviewed by investigators."
