Google Photos' new video editor brings a redesigned interface and new features, but key tools have been removed.

Right now, the Photos app has only a basic way to add text to videos, using a single font and a small set of seven colors.

For reference, Google Photos' video editor currently only lets users select one default font for their text overlay needs, paired with a slightly more generous color wheel consisting of seven options.
