Campbell joins an organization that includes nine other Michigan coaches who served under Harbaugh’s National Championship staff. The most prominent name among them is defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, who also ran the Wolverines’ defensive unit in 2023.

Jim Harbaugh is adding another familiar face to his staff with the Los Angeles Chargers. The team is expected to hire former Michigan offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell as an offensive assistant, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero and CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz both reported Monday.
