The National Weather Service issued a snow squall warning at 12:58 p.m. on Wednesday in effect until 1:30 p.m. for Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire and Worcester counties.

The National Weather Service is forecasting 2 to 3 inches of snow across the region. The best chance for the higher snowfall amounts may be in western and northern Massachusetts. Untreated roads may be snow covered and slippery for the Wednesday morning commute.

A snow squall warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 10:26 a.m. in effect until 11:15 a.m. for Clarion, Forest, Mercer and Venango counties.

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement at 5:09 a.m. on Wednesday in effect until 9 a.m. for Middlesex, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bristol and Plymouth counties.

On Wednesday at 10:04 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a snow squall warning in effect until 10:45 a.m. for Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga, Seneca and Tompkins counties.
