An Alabama quarterback in the Reese’s Senior Bowl is almost by default the most-talked-about player during the week, given both the game’s location and the Crimson Tide’s prominence in the college football world.

Senior Bowl set to kick off on Saturday, 100-plus top prospects will be looking to make their mark as NFL draft season heats up. Eric Edholm takes a look back at five current NFL players who shined in the game over the past 15 years.

Many of the country’s top college prospects will attempt to make an impression on scouts from all 32 NFL teams at this weekend’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. The game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

So far, Senior Bowl practices have mirrored Jalen Milroe’s Alabama football career. The quarterback has thrown beautiful deep passes, right on the money, impressing the crowd gathered in Mobile. He’s also put ugly interceptions on tape, ones that looked easily avoidable. At present time, that’s the Milroe experience.

Senior Bowl week of practice has concluded, checking off the first major event of the annual NFL Draft process. The Arizona Cardinals were there and doing their due diligence on some of college football’s best senior players from every level of college football.

Neither of the consensus top two quarterback prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft, Miami’s Cam Ward and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, were in Alabama to soak up the sun or the spotlight this week at the Senior Bowl.

Quarterback Jalen Milroe was great on the final day of Senior Bowl practices, while top tight ends continued their week-long rise.
