After three seasons with Sauber, Valtteri Bottas has admitted that his decision to join the Swiss outfit in 2022 was a "mistake."

The Finnish driver was slapped with a five-place grid drop and three penalty points after colliding with Kevin Magnussen. The contact brought Bottas' race to a premature end, but fortunately, the Haas racer, also in his last F1 race, was able to continue.

Valtteri Bottas has endured a pointless season in Formula 1 with Sauber, as he bows out of the sport (for now at least) on a low point in his career. He now openly admits that moving to Sauber was a poor career choice.
