The tree – a 24-foot Douglas Fir from Crystal Spring Tree Farm in Carbon County – was brought into the capitol two weeks ago. Crews from the Pennsylvania Department of General Services decorated the conifer with 1,250 lights and over 700 ornaments made by pre-kindergarten students.
