The Oscars 2025 officially rewarded Dune 2, and the wins that came to Denis Villeneuve's excellent sci-fi movie also became a reminder of a big snub.

"Dune: Part Two" featuring Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet received six nominations and was in running for the night's biggest prize – best picture.
