Even though the Thunder swept the Grizzlies, each game was dramatically closer. The Thunder blew out the Grizzlies in a historic 51-point Game 1 win. They beat Memphis in a standard blowout for Game 2. They completed a historic 29-point comeback in Game 3. And finally survived a back-and-forth affair in Game 4.

Even with Ja Morant sidelined with a hip injury, the Grizzlies still put up a formidable fight against the No. 1 seed Thunder in what turned out to be a hard-fought Game 4 battle. It was still the same result in the end,
