Two people have died and a further two were missing in the South Korean resort town of Gapyeong on Sunday, after a landslide engulfed houses and flooding swept away vehicles during a period of heavy rainfall.

Flash flood warnings were issued for multiple areas of the metro, including Independence, Raytown, and Blue Springs.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible Saturday and Sunday in the Lehigh Valley, with a “more pleasant” air mass moving in to start the new week.
