Nominations for the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards - television’s top honor - were revealed Tuesday. The Apple TV+ series “Severance” was the most-nominated series, notching 27 nominations, according to the Television Academy.

No other dramas came close to the dystopian workplace series “Severance,” which achieved a convergence of acclaim and audience buzz for its second season.

B rand new shows topped the Emmy nominations Tuesday as Colin Farrell’s Batman spinoff “The Penguin” and Seth Rogen’s Hollywood sendup “The Studio” came away with 24 and 23 nominations, respectively, trailing only “Severance,” which led the pack with 27 total nominations.
