Wind chills could be 5 degrees in Charlotte Wednesday, with snow possible, NWS says
The arctic air that settled over Charlotte is bringing dangerous wind chills of 5 degrees and a 20% to 30% chance of snow, the National Weather Service says. “We’re still watching the potential for light snow, mainly south of I-85, late (Tuesday) afternoon into early Wednesday morning,” forecasters said in a Jan. 20 social media post.
