Vincent D’Onofrio breaks down the ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ reunion we’ve all been waiting for
Sometimes a single line can make or break a scene. Such was the case with the diner scene in "Heaven's Half Hour," the first episode of the new series "Daredevil: Born Again." According to Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio, the line in question was, "Didn't she shoot you in the face?"
Wilson Fisk (a.k.a. the Kingpin) is one of the most chilling and complex villains in the Daredevil series. The brilliance of Vincent D'Onofrio's portrayal of Fisk becomes evident through the character's intelligence, which pairs perfectly with his ruthless, violent nature, delivering unforgettably powerful scenes in every appearance.
Just stay calm,” stresses the veteran actor, who portrays Kingpin/Wilson Fisk in the new Disney TV+ series “Daredevil: Born Again.”
The official trailer for "Daredevil: Born Again," released in January, centers around a tense conversation between Cox's Murdock and D'Onofrio's Fisk in a New York City diner -- intercut with bloody, bone-breaking action, of course.
“Why did you stop being a vigilante?,” Wilson Fisk asks his old nemesis Matt Murdock in the first trailer for Daredevil: Born Again. “A line was crossed,” Matt cryptically responds as the trailer depicts Daredevil’s cowl falling from the roof of a building. But, as the Marvel show’s tagline promises, the devil’s work is never done.
