As the Portland Trail Blazers continue their rebuild, trade rumors are swirling, and one name that has emerged in discussions is Anfernee Simons. Recently, Bleacher Report listed Simons as the Detroit Pistons’ “dream target” ahead of the trade deadline.

The Trail Blazers have been predicted to trade away one of their stars to an East contender in a new proposal.

The longest-tenured Blazer on their current roster, Simons entered the league in 2018 as Portland's No. 24 overall pick. He experienced team success with the Blazers as early as his rookie year, with Portland finishing with a 53-29 in 2018-19.

Portland Trail Blazers guard Anfernee Simons is heating up. The Blazers guard, who scored the game-winning points during Saturday’s 105-102 win at Milwaukee, is coming off his best four-game scoring stretch of the season.

The Portland Trail Blazers are expected to be one of the more active teams ahead of the NBA trade deadline. Despite Portland not being a good team this season, they hold the cards for multiple deals to possibly be done.
