Apple retailers Amazon and Best Buy are competing for the best price on Apple's MacBook Air, with both sitting at $799 this Cyber Monday.

The Apple MacBook Air M1 is a great deal at just $599, but we believe most of you should upgrade to the M2 mode's current offer.

The best part about this discount is that it makes the 16GB version of the laptop just $50 above the model that sports half the RAM, making the upgrade an easy pick as Apple charges $200 for the upgrade. Both models are otherwise identical, down to the same 256GB storage capacity.

Walmart is now discounting the 13-inch MacBook Air with M1 even further, allowing you to get this Apple Intelligence-ready laptop for just $599.99 (originally $699.99). This is a crazy discount on an already discounted laptop and the lowest price we've tracked. When my colleague Lance Ulanoff wrote about it in March, it was only $699.99.
