The Minnesota Vikings are expected to consider replacing Sam Darnold with former New York Giants starting QB Daniel Jones.

Quarterback Sam Darnold was a shell of himself over the team's final two games, committing three turnovers and getting sacked 11 times despite throwing for a combined 411 yards and a single touchdown.

There's a door open for Jones in Minnesota, according to general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. In his end-of-season news conference, Adofo-Mensah openly admitted that the move to sign Jones midseason was to get a feel for his potential fit with questions surrounding Darnold and McCarthy.
