WASHINGTON — A man is in the hospital after he was shot at Denny's in the District on Tuesday morning. Metropolitan Police Department officers are still searching for who pulled the trigger.

Police in D.C. said a woman was shot in Northwest on Monday night. According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), just after 10:30 p.m., officers were called to the 1400 block of 14th St. for a shooting.

A man died after he was shot inside the Denny’s restaurant on Bladensburg Road NE in D.C. Tuesday morning, authorities say.

Officers were called to the Denny's in the 1200 block of Bladensburg Road Northeast for a reported shooting just before 11 a.m. When police got there, they found a man had been sh
