India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has regained the top spot in the ICC Men’s Test Bowling Rankings after leading his team to a resounding 295-run victory over Australia in the first match of their WTC series in Perth.

After taking eight wickets in the first Test match against Australia in Perth, Bumrah returned to the top position in the ICC rankings.

Bumrah picked eight wickets, including a five-wicket haul in the first innings, and claimed Player of the Match honours in Perth, where he was leading India in Rohit Sharma’s absence.

Glenn Maxwell said that Jasprit Bumrah will finish as one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time. He also praised Yashasvi Jaiswal for his great resolve wile batting.
