Julia Ayrault delivered in crunch time once again. And her efforts helped the Michigan State women's basketball team capture the title at the Acrisure Classic on Wednesday evening. Ayrault recorded her second double-double of the season while helping the Spartans to a 78-70 win over Vanderbilt in the championship game.

The former All-American and gold medalist had two major performances to will MSU to victory. VanSlooten scored 13 points and seven rebounds in against Cal. In the championship, the Oregon transfer notched a team-high 25 points and 10 rebounds.

Michigan State women’s basketball took home the Acrisure Classic on Wednesday, defeating Vanderbilt 78-70 to take home the trophy. After beating California, 78-72, to make the final, the Spartans took care of their business to bring home a trophy to East Lansing.
