Nayanthara recently opened up about why she chose to step away from her flourishing career at the time, following the advice of her then-partner, Prabhudeva.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Nayanthara explained her decision to quit films in 2011. She said, “I was in a phase where I believed that I have to compromise if I want love in my life.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan got married in June in Chennai 2022. The wedding was attended by Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Suriya, Atlee and other superstars. The couple welcomed twins via surrogacy. They named their kids Ulagam and Uyir.
