NBC’s "Meet the Press," President-elect Donald Trump elaborated on plans for removing people who are in the country illegally and imposing tariffs on trade partners — and made some false claims to support them.

Donald Trump has set his first network interview since winning the 2024 election. “ Meet the Press ” moderator Kristen Welker will sit down with the president-elect in an episode of of the NBC News series scheduled to air on Dec. 8.

The president-elect repeated several false and inaccurate claims on a range of topics that were staples of his 2024 campaign.
