The CBS News New York First Alert Weather Team is watching for the potential of a storm that may disrupt travel plans in the Tri-State Area on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.

In New Jersey, low pressure will dominate the region on Thanksgiving, with a 100% chance of precipitation, forecasts the National Weather Service Mount Holly office. Between a quarter and half of an inch of rain is expected on Thanksgiving. A high pressure will return Friday, keeping skies clear for the weekend.

Most weather forecasters agree it's far too early to get a good handle on a possible Thanksgiving storm. But snow or rain can't be ruled out.
