The Reds sealed their second Premier League title last month, but had to wait until the final day to lift the trophy. Arne Slot is the first manager in the club’s history to win the title in his first season, and his predecessor, Jurgen Klopp was in attendance at Anfield to watch the trophy lift.
Liverpool may have secured their 20th title back in April, but Arne Slot's side had to wait until the final day to get their hands on the silverware.
Ryan Gravenberch ended a resurgent campaign on a low note as he was shown a red card with 20 minutes remaining in the tie. The Dutchman was caught in the press by Daichi Kamada and lashed out clumsily, catching the man and missing the ball entirely as he looked to retake possession.
