Charlotte Griffiths, the Mail on Sunday’s editor-at-large, reported that King Charles is the secret source who paid Prince Andrew’s rent at Royal Lodge.

Prince Andrew could be set to spend Christmas at the Sandringham estate but, according to one expert, he would have the "perfect excuse" to miss out.
