The sequel Pushpa 2 has achieved mega-blockbuster status, earning rave reviews for its intense performances and high-octane action. Critic Taran Adarsh rated it 4.5 stars, commending the film’s well-crafted narrative and tight editing despite its lengthy runtime.

Pushpa 2 The Rule movies post-theatrical digital streaming rights are secured by none other than Netflix India for a whopping Rs 270 Crore. The makers have signed the deal for eight weeks and Pushpa 2 might end up for streaming only after February 2025.

The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, releases December 5, 2024. The film continues Pushpa Raj's story. He faces new challenges in the red sandalwood smuggling world. Fahadh Faasil returns as his rival. The film features action sequences and music by Devi Sri Prasad.

The Rule will be released in theatres on December 5 with paid premieres being held on December 4. Sukumar's film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna.
