Rubber banding is still a cornerstone of racing AI (undermining the insult of having to fight through the pack with each race). On one hand I never used it but I thought it was great when playing with my gf or younger kids because no one really needed to hold back to keep the race interesting as even the less skilled players got lots of trump cards when falling way behind and it allowed em to catch up. Now its on me to slow my ass down and deliberately make mistakes to keep the race interesting and not have em fall as far behind. Would rather it either be a togglable option or just disable it for online. I have no issue with it being disabled for online really. On the otherhand overall this is certainly more fair. Not fair for me to want it one specific way for my own particular playing circumstances lol.
