Growing up I was quite emotion-less and I remember working at a theatre, and the teacher at the time called me "stone-face" because I barely showed any emotion. And this led me to having a monotone voice - because a monotone voice comes from a monotone face or body. So if you want to move your voice, you have to move your face!
